Getting out of the Studio

Well the pleasant but unpredictable weather (is it ever really unpredictable around here) is here and I've been taking advantage of it for the first time in a few years. I'm not sure exactly why that is but it is what it is I suppose.

A great session with a lovely woman on a nice day is always a treat.

One of the reasons I haven't done many outdoor shoots is because the weather hasn't been very co-operative which make planning a shoot rather difficult. Besides I've been absorbed in getting better acquainted with shooting in a studio.

Most of the photography I've done in my life has been out in the world as a "Picture Taker" that merely captures what exists and what happens in the environment around him in an interesting and compelling way (hopefully),  rather than as a "Picture Maker" who sets up what is photographed.

In any event I love to make images outside so weather permitting I am game to do portrait sessions with any individual or group that wishes to have some outdoor portraits.

There will be an additional fee starting at $50 to cover the time and expense of transporting myself and any additional equipment that may be required to the location.
